Simmonds Wind-Wings

These wind-wings were designed by Simmonds through customer pressure to come up with a better wind deflection system. These are most effective when used in conjunction with the rear Windstop and sun-visors. Made using chrome plated brass and automotive safety toughened glass, these will not scratch like Perspex, these are located in board of the sidescreens. The Simmonds wind deflectors are very effective and due to their position: when the sidescreens are being used they close with the deflectors as opposed to catching on them.

This product is sold as a kit with the two windwings, brackets and rubber sealing strips. The cast pillars have to be drilled, drilling instructions will be enclosed.

To fit: Remove the three screws in the side of the windscreen holding it to the support bracket. You can now remove the plastic strip. Replace the plastic strip with the stainless steel bracket which the wind wings are attached to. Align the three holes and replace the screws. NOTE: only remove the screws on one side of the screen at a time.
