About Us
We at Simmonds have been professionally modifying/trimming & building special vehicles since the summer of 1976. Design has always been paramount in all the work we have undertaken, to improve rather than just restore or rebuild.
Over the years the innovative ideas have been recognised by many serious car owners and car company owners. We have always been "up for the challenge" and its great to see many of our original prototypes still giving good service years after they were produced, whereas most prototypes in the design world gather dust rather than being "out there in the real world". The reason for this is usually due to the experience of the staff at Simmonds realising what works and what dose not, so time and money is not wasted.
For the last 16 years we have concentrated on the Morgan Sportscar originally undertaking successful design work directly to Peter & Charles Morgan, then moving on to privately owned Morgans ending up with a range of unique bespoke products.
The Superspoke wheel range that we are now proud to offer has been an in house design by the MD Steve Simmonds.
